The Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday 9th November at Brigsley Village Hall at 7.30pm. Any items for the agenda should be sent to me in writing as soon as possible. Nominations for members wanting to serve on the committee would also be welcome.

This year's prize presentation will take place on Friday 20th November at Humberston Country Club. After problems with the meal last year, we have received assurances from the staff at The Country Club that this year's buffet will be better organised. They have also offered us a discount so tickets this year will be just £6. Former Cub Chairman Colin Abdy, now of Barton Wheelers, has agreed to present the trophies. "Cycling specific" One hour Spinning classes will start again on Thursday 22nd October at Bargate Fitness Suite. Please note that the new start time will be 6.45pm. Our instructor will again be Lianna Hill. Numbers are limited to 10. To ensure your place please ring 01472 315511 to pre book.

We are arranging a Nutrition and Hydration Workshop at the club room on Monday 19th October starting at 7.30pm. The Workshop will be delivered by an expert from Loughborough University and will cover nutrition and hydration when riding and racing. The workshop takes a scientific approach and is not product biased. The cost will be £5 (to include refreshments) and places are limited to 30. Please contact Steve or Janice Wakefield if you wish to attend. There will be no club meetings at Brigsley Village Hall on Mondays 28th September and 12th October.

The final event in the club's road race league takes place on Tuesday 4th August on the Limber circuit. Signing on will be at Limber Village Hall where there will be refreshments and prizegiving after the finish. As usual the race will start at the bottom of the hill and finish at Fonaby top after the completion of 2 laps. Start time is 7pm.
